VariCel® VXL
The VariCel VXL is the highest-performing and longest-lasting box filter in the HVAC filter line. This filter was developed to offer the lowest cost of ownership thanks to its unique combination of features. The V-bank design and dual-density fiberglass media provide excellent performance under difficult operating conditions.
MEGApleat® M9
The MEGApleat M9 filter is the longest-lasting and strongest pleated prefilter available. Its service life is 3 to 4 times longer than standard pleated filters. The low initial resistance and high dust-holding capacity help reduce energy use to lower operating costs.
MEGAcel® II
The MEGAcel II mini-pleat eFRM media HEPA filter is designed to help increase cleanroom uptime and reduce risks associated with pharmaceutical manufacturing. In addition to its durability, high particulate filtration efficiency and lowest pressure drop, the MEGAcel II eFRM is the industry’s first and only eFRM media compatible with polyalphaolefin (PAO) for HVAC validation.

Helps alleviate testing concerns resulting from filter failure
Regulations require that HEPA filters in critical processes be tested once or twice a year. Testing can reveal HEPA media failure. AAF developed the MEGAcel family of filters to help mitigate those issues. MEGAcel filters are made of strong, polymer-based media designed to resist damage better than microglass.
Eliminates potential supply air bypass and guarantees system performance
AAF’s AstroHood SI is a fully welded terminal HEPA module equipped with an ESD damper that reduces pressure drop while increasing airflow uniformity during validation and operation. The AstroHood SI comes standard with room-side HEPA replacement and localized aerosol injection and sampling and is pressure-tested at the factory to guarantee its durability.
