AMERICAN AIR FILTER INTERNATIONAL

Gas Phase Filtration

AAF gas-phase filtration is suitable for a wide range of commercial applications where people, processes and equipment need to be protected from polluted air. Our solutions help remove common gaseous contaminants and odors, whether they enter your space from the outdoors or are released from areas inside your facility. Select products built for your specific environment, from airports to museums and semiconductor fabrication to archive storage facilities. AAF filtration products are trusted worldwide for quality, efficiency and low total cost of ownership.
The SAAF Side Access Housings (SAH) are self-contained, double-walled units that hold particulate filters and gas-phase cassettes for a total clean air solution. They are designed for a wide range of flexibility in installation. The patent-pending SAAF Seal locks cassettes and filters in place to prevent bypass and wasted energy.
AAF box filters remove airborne contaminants to help you protect both your indoor air quality (IAQ) and your building’s equipment. You can address the concerns that matter most, from odor control to reducing specific contaminants. Pleated media options offer a range of carbon filtration. Tough, galvanized steel frames are designed to fit in standard filter housings for easy installation.
AAF cassettes are sturdy housings for effective handling of chemical media used in gas phase filtration. The unique design uses a compression fit for near absolute sealing to eliminate bypass. Rigid construction means harmful glues and solvents aren’t required, so there’s less risk of off-gassing or leakage. Cassettes are available in a range of sizes and are suitable for many applications, including cleanroom and heavy-duty usage.
AAF offers a wide selection of chemical media for tailoring a filtration solution for most commercial and industrial systems. Non-toxic carbon pellets can be engineered to target specific pollutants such as ammonia, chlorine, reactive compounds and acid gasses. Many of these media are designed to perform well even in extreme environments. Low-pressure drop and high adsorptive capacity promote efficient performance.
AAF offers High Efficiency Gas Adsorber (HEGA) filtration to filter gaseous contaminants from airstreams through a process of adsorption. Typically used by the nuclear industry, HEGA systems are often installed in a walk-in bank. The HEGA system’s adsorber must be able to provide a 99.9% minimum mechanical efficiency.
AAF panel filters provide easy-to-use carbon filtration to remove odors and other gaseous pollutants from indoor air. These are a low-maintenance, cost-effective option to loose-filled tray systems. Bonded carbon panel filters eliminate settling and have a high carbon surface to help provide economical performance and cleaner air.
